01525 405254I am a professionally qualified Emotional Therapist, Medical Herbalist and Healer, and currently see clients in private practice in Lidlington, Flitwick and Wootton which is just outside Bedford. I may also be close enough if you are looking for counselling in the Milton Keynes area. Because I am also medically qualified, I work in a holistic way, and often see clients who may also be experiencing physical conditions such as Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) and acid reflux, or insomnia, headaches, back problems, skin conditions and high blood pressure. I practice from a new NHS integrated GP surgery and from a Physiotherapy clinic but I also offer Emotional Therapy sessions at my home in Lidlington.
For Emotional Therapy in LidlingtonMapThe aim of Emotional Therapy is to provide support at times when we feel unable to cope emotionally, whether this is because of a crisis, long term unhappiness, depression or difficulties in relating to others.
As the name suggests, ET addresses feelings, rather than simply going through a process of intellectual analysis. It is a very gentle, supportive counselling therapy that advocates listening with the heart and not just the head.
Feelings including anger, guilt, fear, resentment, grief, low self-esteem and self-worth, may all manifest in relationship problems, or cause confusion, physical, emotional or mental stress. Sometimes the problem is that we do not know what the problem is, we may just feel stuck, unable to move forward, or we may be experiencing anxiety, panic attacks, self harm or addictions.
